Engberg Anderson: Jack L. Fischer, AIA, joins Engberg Anderson as principal

MILWAUKEE, WIS. (August 10, 2012) – Engberg Anderson, a full service architecture, planning and interior design firm with offices in Milwaukee and Madison, Wisconsin and Tucson, Arizona, has announced the addition of Jack L. Fischer, AIA, as a principal. In addition to his new role with Engberg Anderson, Fischer, a former Commerce Secretary for the State of Wisconsin, will continue as an active partner and owner of Third Coast Consulting, LLC, and The Fischer Group, LLC.

“Jack brings over three decades of experience in architecture, development, finance, and international business. Jack’s innovative thinking, collaborative nature, energy, and wide-range of business expertise promises Engberg Anderson will be well-positioned to meet the certain challenges of the future with a continued sense of confidence and adventure,” said Mark Ernst, AIA, partner.

During his distinguished career, Fischer has been involved in the design and construction of more than 100 Class A facilities. Along with his architecture and development activities, he has enjoyed a host of civic achievements, is an enthusiastic UW-Milwaukee School of Architecture alumnus, and has traveled extensively for project activities in Canada, Mexico, El Salvador, Brazil, Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, South Africa, Zimbabwe, the Caribbean islands and nearly all of the United States. Earlier in his career, Fischer had served as president of several companies, including JP Marathon and Interglobia. He will continue to serve on a number of private company and non-profit boards.
