Verona Road/County PD intersection work postponed to Monday, Aug. 13
Improvements to the Verona Road (US 18/151) and County PD (McKee Road) intersection, Fitchburg, were pushed back a week to Monday (Aug. 13).
Additional left turn lanes will be constructed at the County PD approaches to Verona Road to improve safety and minimize congestion.
Verona Road and County PD will remain open to traffic during construction. Lane closures will occur during off-peak hours.
Motorists should anticipate traffic slowdowns near the work zone.
The project is scheduled to be complete in November.
