National Study Shows Huge Economic Impact of Nonprofit Arts in Dane County

The results of a major study by Americans for the Arts regarding the major economic impact of the nonprofit arts sector in Dane County will be revealed to local arts leaders, business leaders, the media and the public on Monday, June 11, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Overture Center for the Arts.

The local study was coordinated by the University of Wisconsin Arts Institute, Dane Arts, Madison Arts Commission, Overture Center for the Arts, and Thrive.

Jennifer Post Tyler, interim executive vice president of Thrive, will be joined in announcing the results by Overture Center CEO Ted DeDee, Small Business Administration Regional Advocate Henry Sanders, City of Madison Economic Development Director Aaron Olver, and Dane County Executive Joe Parisi.
