Mad City Vegan Fest: Second annual Mad City Vegan Fest will feature globally-known speakers, local restaurants, demos, giveaways and fun for all

Madison, WI – After the highly successful inaugural event with a turnout exceeding expectations, the second annual MAD CITY VEGAN FEST is scheduled for Saturday, June 9, 2012, at the award-winning Goodman Community Center. As in 2011, the event will feature renowned vegan speakers, area vegan-friendly restaurants, other local vegan-friendly businesses, wellness and animal welfare experts, well-known vegan chefs, and activities for all ages. Among those already confirmed to appear this year are Colleen Patrick-Goudreau, distinguished vegan author and contributor to National Public Radio and The Christian Science Monitor, and pastry chef Cara Moseley of The Green Owl Cafe, who will be conducting a demonstration. This year’s Mad City Vegan Fest once again promises to be a fun, entertaining and educational forum for all.

Admission is free, and there will be free demonstrations, speakers, food sampling, and giveaways.
