Multiple employers, one location, easy access to dozens of career openings for Tribal, Non-Tribal talent

LAC du FLAMBEAU, Wis.-May 13, 2019-Tribal-related enterprises in Lac du Flambeau today announced dozens of career opportunities exist for professionals, construction, manufacturing, retail and call center representatives. All Tribal businesses are hosting a “hire on the spot” career fair May 22, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Lake of the Torches Convention Center.

“With growth comes opportunity in Lac du Flambeau,” LDF Business Development Corporation HR Director Turquoise Santiesteban says. “As one of the largest employers in the region, we strive to create an environment where people love where they work. It starts with our hiring process. This career fair provides easy access to those interested in the many career opportunities we offer in Lac du Flambeau.”

From the on-reservation call center that handles national lending accounts to the casino to construction, manufacturing and retail operations to Tribal government and health and dental clinics, there’s a wide range of professional, trades and entry-level positions open.

“We continue to work to overcome the perception that only Tribal Members can work for Tribal Enterprises,” LDF Business Development Corporation CEO Darold Londo says. “We have opportunities for Natives and non-Natives. In fact, roughly half our employees are non-Natives. All are welcome here.”

The May 22 career fair runs from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Lake of the Torches Convention Center. More information is available at LDFBDC.com or by calling (715) 388-0502.
