Local organizations co-sponsor not-for-profit workshop

WISCONSIN – Local organizations are teaming up to host a workshop, “Powerful planned giving with a shoestring staff and budget – you can do it!” The event is co-sponsored by Community Foundation of the Fox Valley Region, United Way Fox Cities, Nonprofit Leadership Initiative and Schenck.

The workshop will be held Thursday, October 4 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Bridgewood Resort Hotel & Conference Center, 1000 Cameron Way, Neenah. Registration and continental breakfast begin at 8 a.m. Cost is $35 per person, which includes seminar materials, continental breakfast and buffet lunch.

Participants will learn easy, practical ways to engage staff and board members in jumpstarting their nonprofit organization’s planned giving efforts. Participants will also discover what really motivates donors to give, how to prospect, and have the conversation and will develop a step-by-step action plan.

Presenter Bryan Clontz, CFP®, CAP®, is president of Charitable Solutions, LLC. He has given more than 2,000 presentations on charitable gift planning; been published in an international insurance textbook; and written more than two dozen articles in financial services and planned giving journals.
