The Advantage Group helps employers with two or more staff shop for benefits and save money by finding the plans and policies that best suit their needs. Their goal is to help small businesses thrive by retaining workers and complying with state and federal law. Their work helps clients save up to 40% on their benefits.
The new office is located in downtown Bayfield and will be run by Joe Jurgensmier, Advantage Group regional director for Wausau and Northern Wisconsin.
"We brought the Advantage Group to Bayfield county to help employers of any size find the right benefits for their employees," says Jurgensmier. "Being local and being a part of the community is the key to providing great service and helping our clients stay in compliance with the law." Jurgensmier specializes in policies for short-term disability, critical illness, accident plans, life insurance, and hospital plans.
Jurgensmier has been traveling and camping in the Bayfield area for 12 years and decided this is where his heart truly lies. Joe is married, has 5 kids, and knows the importance of having great benefits to help pay for unexpected medical expenses.
