Madison – The Bank of Sun Prairie has created a Sun Prairie Disaster Relief Fund to help those affected by the recent tragic event. Anyone wishing to help the Sun Prairie community recover should consider donating to this fund, which can be found on the bank’s website (www.bankofsunprairie.com) and includes an online donation option. 100 percent of the funds will support those impacted in the community.

It should be noted that the bank has also been impacted by the explosion and has had to close its Main Street office until further notice. All other locations are open for business as usual. Despite these challenges, the Bank of Sun Prairie has stepped forward to help their neighbors through the creation of the Sun Prairie Disaster Relief Fund.

The Wisconsin Bankers Association extends their thoughts and prayers to all the first responders as well as the Sun Prairie residents and businesses impacted by this tragedy.

We also commend the Bank of Sun Prairie on taking these first steps in helping in the recovery efforts of their friends and neighbors in the community.

Community banks have always been and will continue to be an integral part in assisting their communities during times of need. We are proud to serve the banking industry because of the way they serve their communities. The Bank of Sun Prairie’s service is simply the latest example of this community dedication.
