WISCONSIN – Schenck SC, a full-service regional accounting and consulting firm with $83 million in annual revenue and 600 team members, has entered into an agreement for the Milwaukee-based firm Winter, Kloman, Moter & Repp, SC to merge into Schenck. The transaction is expected to close July 1, 2018.

“We’re pleased WKMR has chosen to join us to meet the growing accounting and consulting needs of businesses in southeast Wisconsin,” said Terry Strittmater, CPA, managing shareholder of Schenck’s Milwaukee office. “Their industry focus and skill sets complement ours, which allows us to bring a wider range of specialized business services to the greater Milwaukee area and beyond.”

“Schenck continues to focus on strategic growth, and Winter, Kloman, Moter & Repp is a well-respected firm that will help strengthen our collective position in the market,” said Daniel Young, CPA, CVA, president of Schenck. “We share a similar client service approach, which keeps the client and their success at the center of everything we do. We are truly stronger together and our clients will be the ultimate beneficiaries of this change.”

WKMR, with $8.4 million in annual revenue and 67 team members, has provided audit, accounting, tax and business consulting services to closely held enterprises in southeastern Wisconsin since 1968. The firm is led by Daniel Gotter, CPA/ABV, CVA, CGMA, president and shareholder, and has office locations in Brookfield, Oconomowoc and Watertown.

“We look forward to the new opportunities this merger brings our clients with the greater resources and more diversified services we can offer as a combined team,” said Gotter. “For our team members, it will offer tremendous growth potential with an ability to focus more specifically in an industry, develop additional expertise, and devote dedicated time within that specialty.”

The employees of WKMR will continue to operate out of their existing Brookfield and Oconomowoc offices. The Watertown office will close on July 1 with those employees transitioning to another office.
