Consolidated Construction Adds Project Manager, Sr. Project Accountant to Team

Appleton, Wis. – Consolidated Construction Co., Inc., a full-service design/build firm headquartered in Appleton, Wis., recently hired senior project accountant, Paul Plutz, and project manager, Ron Wiedeman, as the newest members of the Wisconsin-based team.

“Consolidated Construction offers a streamlined and collaborative project delivery process and with that comes an exceptionally talented team,” said Rick Bickert, Consolidated Construction CEO. “The additions of both Paul and Ron make our team even stronger and better equipped to help serve our clients.”

Plutz joins Consolidated Construction with more than 30 years of experience in accounting and finance with special expertise in profit, revenue and cost optimization. As senior project accountant, he will participate in the financial management practices for all projects while working with project managers and coordinators to ensure success. Plutz will also assist project managers as they take a deeper look at managing cash flows, projections, analyses and reporting.

Plutz earned his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

With more than 15 years of project management experience, Wiedeman offers advanced knowledge in project budgeting and management for both new structures and remodel projects. Some of his responsibilities will include assisting owners and architects in developing project scope and budget, reviewing project plans and specifications, recommending cost-saving measures in materials and methods and directing site personnel to ensure a quality, on-time and on-budget completion.

Wiedeman attended the University of Maryland where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business and Management.
