Black River Falls – With a commitment of over $10 billion dollars in investments, Black
River Falls, WI based contractor Hoffman Construction Co. welcomes Foxconn to
Wisconsin.
“I am very pleased that Foxconn chose Wisconsin to build its first North American liquid
crystal display plant” states James Hoffman, President of Hoffman Construction Co.
“The Wisconsin Assembly also understands the importance of the Foxconn development
with their vote of support today. Of the $10 billion in investment, over $5.5 billion will
be for direct Wisconsin construction spending. For Wisconsin construction companies,
studies have shown that it will create between 20,000 to 25,000 construction jobs and
other ripple effect positions. That is in addition to the over 13,000 direct Foxconn jobs.
This is a very good day for Wisconsin.”
Hoffman Construction is excited at the opportunities that the Foxconn project offers for
Wisconsin contractors. With Wisconsin’s largest fleet of scrapers, dozers and haul trucks
and the design/build project management skills needed, Hoffman Construction is poised
to demonstrate what Wisconsin contractors can do. Hoffman Construction celebrated
100 years in the highway construction and site grading business in 2016.
