Wauwatosa – Today, Dr. Dan Thoma of the Grainger Institute at UW-Madison kicked off the meeting with a key-note presentation on Technology-Driven Innovation where he touched on M-WERC’s unique role helping bring industry partners together with academic partners.

The event, held at the corporate offices of Briggs and Stratton featured a unique breakout session focused on aligning the needs of industry with the research pipeline capabilities of our region’s academic institutions and consulting firms.

“We’re excited about information we’ve collected from our members,” said M-WERC Executive Director and CEO Alan Perlstein. “This year’s technology symposium was another successful event connecting the needs of industry with the resources of our region’s academic institutions.”
