WAUKESHA, Wis. (March 2, 2017) – Prairie Financial Group® (PFG), a division of Waukesha State Bank, is pleased to announce the promotions of Nancy Schoenberg, Stephen Zimmel and Michele Young to vice president – senior trust administrator.

In their new positions, all three will continue their responsibilities in trust administration and estate settlement services serving as relationship managers and fiduciary advisors for a wide range of clients and accounts.

“Nancy, Steve and Michele’s ability to handle complex trust administration, including the administration of Special Needs Trusts, helps distinguish our organization and contributed to our record success in 2016,” stated Victor J. Schultz, president of Prairie Financial Group. “These promotions are well deserved and recognize the hard work and expertise that each brings to our team.”

Nancy Schoenberg joined Prairie Financial Group in February of 2014 as a senior trust administrator. She has more than 25 years of banking and finance experience, with an expertise in employee benefits, trust and estate administration, and trust operations. She holds a bachelor’s degree of business administration in finance from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, earned her Retirement Services Professional and Trust I certifications from the Cannon Financial Institute, and holds the Wisconsin Life Insurance License. Nancy is active in the local community serving as a member on the Life Navigators Trust Committee and is a member of the Walworth Estate Planning Council.

Stephen Zimmel started his career with Prairie Financial Group in March of 2014 as a senior trust administrator and has more than 15 years of trust experience. Steve is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) and earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

Michele Young joined the Prairie Financial Group team in November of 2014 as a senior trust administrator and has over 25 years of trust administration experience. Michele earned her bachelor’s degree in economics/finance from Augusta State University and holds a CTFA designation. Michele is active in the community serving on the board of directors for the Friends of Boerner Botanical Gardens, as treasurer for St. Matthias Episcopal Church in Waukesha, as a volunteer/big sister for Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Metro Milwaukee, and as a volunteer for the National MS Society – Wisconsin Chapter.
