Evansville, WI – Did you know that there are 77,000 farms in Wisconsin and their average size is 195 acres?

National Crop Insurance Services (NCIS) reports that crop insurance protected $2.4 billion of liability on crops in Wisconsin in 2015.

The deadline to purchase crop insurance for this year’s growing season is March 15, 2017.

Union Bank & Trust Company (UB&T) invites farmers to attend Crop Insurance meetings as they plan for 2017.

UB&T’s team of Ag experts will share tools to help farmers decide what’s best for their farm business. UB&T crop insurance specialists Jessica Agnew-Sarbacker, Heather Golz and Emily Johnson will host the meetings and provide area county FSA updates.
