FOUR WISCONSIN HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL COACHES NAMED TO FINAL 15 IN U.S. CELLULAR’S MOST VALUABLE COACH PROGRAM

Voting begins now to select two Most Valuable Coach winners

Milwaukee, Wis. (Oct. 20, 2016) -U.S. Cellular today announced that four Wisconsin high school football coaches, Coach Jed Kennedy from Brookfield Central High School, Coach Guy Kopp from Cuba City High School, Coach Clayton Kreger from Parker High School and Coach Jeff Spiwak from Clinton High School, were named to the Final 15 coaches who have moved on to the final round of voting in the company’s Most Valuable Coach program.

Based on votes cast now through Nov. 18 at TheMostValuableCoach.com, the four coaches have the opportunity to be among the two coaches named a U.S. Cellular Most Valuable Coach on Nov. 21. Each winning coach will receive $5,000 for their school and will be recognized on the field at the Under Armour All-America High School Football Game on Jan. 1.

U.S. Cellular will host local celebratory events to honor each Final 15 coach and will create a short video detailing each coach’s story, which will be released on Nov. 11. The company will also award $1,000 to each school with a Final 15 coach, and each community is encouraged to vote their coach through to the final two.

“We are truly inspired by the community support shown in Wisconsin to propel these four coaches into the Final 15,” said John Heimsch, Director of Sales for Wisconsin at U.S. Cellular. “We look forward to celebrating with Coach Kennedy, Coach Kopp, Coach Kreger and Coach Spiwak, and regardless of who emerges victorious in the end, we are thrilled that they are one of the coaches leading and teaching young people in our Wisconsin communities.”

U.S. Cellular’s Most Valuable Coach program began on Sept. 9 and gave people the opportunity to honor high school football head coaches who have had a positive impact on their players, students and local communities. The two winning coaches and their guests will receive a trip to Orlando, Fla. to be recognized on the field of Camping World Stadium during the ESPN nationally-televised Under Armour All-America High School Football Game on Jan. 1.
