Cushman & Wakefield | Boerke has been hired by WISPARK LLC as the exclusive marketing agent for the OakView Business Park in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. The 220 acre park is the newest business park to be delivered in Milwaukee County and offers the modern amenities, park covenants, and excellent location that businesses demand in order to enhance their competitiveness. OakView has already attracted one of Milwaukee’s fastest growing companies, Stella & Chewy’s, as well as AD -TECH Medical Instruments. With the ability to accommodate parcel needs from 2.1 acres to 18.65 acres, the park can provide a unique setting for local privately held businesses all the way up to large corporate headquarter operations.

Marquee commercial developments continue to make headlines in Oak Creek. IKEA just announced a 295,000 square foot store in the community and WISPARK’s Drexel Towne Square has become a model mixed-use development. Within three miles of OakView, Drexel Towne Square will yield $225 million worth of value in total development, 550 apartments, and 700,000 square feet of commercial space, which includes a new, state of the art, City Hall and Library. “Oak Creek has been one of the most active and pragmatic communities in southeast Wisconsin for economic development” said Jeff Hoffman and Chad Vande Zande of Cushman & Wakefield | Boerke who will be handling the assignment. “One of the key differentiators for Stella & Chewy’s in selecting OakView was the Private/Public partnership mentality of Oak Creek which was made evident from day one. Mayor Scaffidi and his team did what they said they were going to do and Stella & Chewy’s was able to deliver a significant project on a very tight timeline ” added Hoffman.

Southern Milwaukee County is currently experiencing record low industrial property availability with vacancy rates standing at 2.5% of total inventory. Additionally, the supply of shovel ready land sites has dwindled. As an example, the Franklin Business Park has only 23 total acres available. “Recruiting and retaining talent is the number one issue keeping business owners and executives up at night and we developed OakView with that in mind. The park includes extensive natural tree lines, walking paths, and an easily accessible location. In addition, the momentum in the community of Oak Creek is creating an unparalleled live-work-play lifestyle” said Jerry Franke, President of WISPARK LLC.
