Germantown, Wisconsin– MGS Mfg. Group, Inc. is pleased to have been recently named Business of the Year by
the Germantown Chamber of Commerce. MGS was selected for the award based on various accomplishments,
including:
-Employing over 500 people in Wisconsin
– Opening a new 100,000 square foot distribution center, which made a positive impact on the local economy and
created additional jobs
-Providing educational support to students through our apprenticeship program, facility tours and participation at
career fairs
-Supporting our community through various activities, such as our annual food drives, collecting donations for the
Toys for Tots program, and partnering with United Way on various volunteer projects
A dinner and awards ceremony was held at Nardo’s Passport Inn in Germantown to celebrate the award
recipients. MGS received commemorative plaques from the State of Wisconsin, Washington County, the
Germantown Chamber of Commerce and the Village of Germantown.
In addition to Business of the Year, other awards included Citizen of the Year, Service Organization of the Year,
and the Rising Star Achievement award.
