WisDOT: Public involvement meeting for WIS 19 interim improvement project

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Southwest Region will hold a public involvement meeting to discuss an interim improvement project on WIS 19 between WIS 78 and US 12 in Dane County. The meeting will held Thursday, January 28 from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Town of Berry Town Hall, 9046 Highway 19, Mazomanie. A presentation will made at 6 p.m.
The design of the project is to improve the outer edges of the deteriorated pavement along 9.2 miles of WIS 19 until the roadway is reconstructed in the future. Construction of the interim project is currently scheduled for 2018. Information presented at the meeting will include the planned detour route.

The meeting will be organized in an open house format with exhibits and maps for review. Project Staff will be available to answer any questions throughout the evening. The public is encouraged to attend and share verbal or written comments about the project.
