UW Health Veterans Career Event set for Tuesday, November 10

MADISON- The third annual UW Health veterans’ career event is set for Tuesday, November 10 starting at 8 a.m. at the UW Health administrative office building, 7974 UW Health Court in Middleton.

This is a chance for veterans and their families to network, receive career assistance, participate in mock interviews and learn about the opportunities at UW Health. Attendees are able to apply for jobs at the end of the event.

With more than 200 employees with known military service, UW Health thanks all veterans for their service to our country and hopes this offering provides value in their journey home.

“The brave men and women who have served our country deserve support in making their transition home,” said Bill Schrum, a Vietnam veteran and vice president of human resources at UW Health, who will speak on the panel. “Several leaders at UW Health have military experience and we want our veterans to be in the best position to get a job.”

Walk-ins are welcomed as there is no pre- registration required. Attendees are encouraged to participate at any time and take advantage of all sessions.
