Company Joins Army’s PaYS Program

Milwaukee (October 26, 2015) – Dental Associates, Wisconsin’s largest family-owned dental group practice, has launched an initiative to add more veterans to its ranks. The company is now participating in the Army’s Partnership for Youth Success (PaYS) program, which guarantees those who have completed their service a job interview.

Through PaYS, Dental Associates hopes to hire veterans for a variety of clinical and support staff positions, including patient care coordinators and dental assistants. The PaYS initiative complements Dental Associates’ ongoing focus on recruiting veterans as doctors.

The company already has a solid track record of employing military personnel. Eight of its 14 clinics are led by former military dentists and it has another 15 dentists who are military veterans or reservists. The company also employs dental assistants, hygienists and
administrative staff who have served in the Armed Forces or are currently in the Reserves.

An interesting insight is that Dental Associates’ employees include a number of
distinguished military personnel – a Deputy Surgeon General in the Army, Army Colonels,
Lieutenant Colonels and Majors, Navy Captains and an Air Force Major.

“When I talk to our dentists and staff who have a military background, I’m constantly impressed with their focus on quality and continual pursuit of patient satisfaction,” says Dr.

Thomas Manos, D.D.S, M.S., president and owner of Dental Associates. “I know we’re a better company thanks to their contributions and leadership.”
