Because Home Matters, Organizations Form NeighborWorks® Alliance of Wisconsin
Milwaukee, WI — Today, six organizations based in Wisconsin that focus on home ownership and building sustainable communities announced the formation of a new statewide coalition – the NeighborWorks® Alliance of Wisconsin.
“Each of our partner organizations focus in their area on providing services to build a sustainable and strong community, from homebuyer education and counseling to property management and more,” said Noel Halverson, executive director of NeighborWorks® Green Bay and Chair of the Alliance. “By working together as an Alliance, we are able to leverage our resources to tell our story about how Home Matters and how we are improving neighborhoods across Wisconsin.”
All of the member organizations are chartered members of NeighborWorks® America operating in Wisconsin. Organizations participating in the NeighborWorks® Alliance of Wisconsin are:

“It’s important for all of our organizations to work together to educate the public, media, donors, and elected officials on the importance of home and the economic impact our organizations have in our local communities,” said Raymond Schmidt, executive director of Select Milwaukee and Vice Chair of the Alliance.
NeighborWorks® Alliance of Wisconsin will focus on a variety of initiatives and activities, including sharing best practices among member organizations, educating on and advocating for public policy around affordable housing issues, and more.
