Monona State Bank executive to represent Wisconsin at national conference

MADISON – Paul Hoffmann, President and CEO of Monona State Bank, has been selected to represent the Wisconsin community banking industry at a nationwide conference this fall. Hoffmann will join Ray Allen, Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions (DFI), and Division of Banking Deputy Administrator Cheryll Olson-Collins at the 3rd annual Community Banking Conference in St. Louis on Sept. 30-Oct. 1. The conference is sponsored by the Federal Reserve and the Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS).

“Paul Hoffmann is well respected in the industry and he will do an excellent job of representing Wisconsin’s community bankers at this important conference,” Secretary Allen said.

Hoffmann, a native of Bangor, WI, has spent nearly 30 years in the banking industry. His experience includes positions with M&I Bank, the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis and Park Bank of Madison. He joined Monona State Bank as President and CEO in 2007.

Monona State Bank is a member of CSBS, the nation’s leading advocate for the state banking system and the only national organization dedicated to advancing the state banking system. DFI regulates state-chartered banks and other financial services industries in Wisconsin.
