Yes, the Dane County Farmers’ Market to be Held
Same Day as Taste of Madison, Saturday, September 5

August 25, 2015–The Taste of Madison comes to the Capitol Square in two weeks, on Saturday, Sept. 5 and Sunday, Sept. 6. The Dane County Farmers’ Market (DCFM) will be held as usual on Saturday, ending a half an hour early, at 1:30 pm instead of 2:00 pm.

Access to the Capitol Square will be limited throughout the market because of Taste of Madison setup. The Taste does not affect the number of Dane County Farmers’ Market sellers or their location.

The DCFM is the largest producer-only farmers’ market in the country. It has been held on the Capitol Square each year during the summer since 1972.
