Olympus Group: To expand production facilities and add jobs

Milwaukee – Olympus Group, producer of large format digital graphics and mascot costumes, is expanding its production facilities in its Milwaukee and Orlando locations, the company announced yesterday.

Olympus will be adding 13,000 sq. ft. to its corporate headquarters to help manage current and future growth.

“In the last 5 years, our business has doubled in size and to better support our growth in printing of tradeshow and retail P.O.P graphics, we felt an expansion was necessary,” said Brian Adam, President.

The expansion includes a renovation of the existing offices as well as green initiatives, such as “blue roof” for stormwater management.

In the wake of the expansion, the Milwaukee headquarters plans to add 50 jobs in the next three years.

Ground breaking for these projects is expected this September, with an estimated completion date by January 2016.

The Orlando location will also expand its current 18,000 sq. ft. facility, adding an additional 7,500 sq. ft. at the end of 2015. The Orlando facility opened in 2011 with only two team members, now employs 35, and has been doubling in size every year since.

“Our team has built world-class printing facilities in Orlando and Milwaukee and the additions will help position us well for continued growth in the years to come,” Adam said.
