MADISON – The law firm of Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek S.C. (WHD) is pleased to announce that Jordan Corning has been elected president-elect of the Dane County Bar Association (DCBA). The DCBA, which has approximately 1,400 members, acts as a liaison between judges and attorneys, works alongside the judges of the Dane County Circuit Court on a number of projects and publicizes pertinent administrative and legal issues in Dane County. Corning assumed this one-year post on June 1, 2015, and he will become president of the DCBA on June 1, 2016.

Corning is an attorney in WHD’s Madison office where he is a member of the Business & Commercial Litigation and Intellectual Property Litigation teams. He represents businesses and individuals in complex litigation in federal and state courts with an emphasis on disputes involving trade regulation statutes, business torts, trade secrets and breach of contract.

Previously co-chair of the DCBA Programs Committee, Corning is a member of the American Bar Association’s Young Lawyers and Litigation sections as well as the Dane County Courthouse Security and Facilities Committee. He was named State Bar of Wisconsin LRIS Hotline Attorney of the Year in 2014.

“We are very proud of Jordan’s election to this important leadership position,” said WHD’s Chief Executive Paul Eberle. “Through his dedication to our clients’ service and success as well as his involvement in the DCBA and other organizations that benefit our citizens, he exemplifies WHD’s commitment to the practice of law in the communities it serves.”
