Madison, Wis. (May 22, 2015) – Edgewood College will hold a special groundbreaking ceremony for a new residence hall on campus at 4:00 pm, Thursday, May 28, 2015.

The $13 million project will provide additional living space for more than 100 students, and is scheduled to be completed in time for the Fall 2016 semester.

Catherine Zdeblick, a major benefactor to the project, will speak at the ceremony. Her gift made in honor of the memory of her son AJ, ensures that three students in the College’s Cutting Edge program will be able to live in the new hall each year. AJ Zdeblick was a student in the first cohort of the unique college access program. His sudden passing more than five years ago deeply affected many at the College.
