Oconomowoc, Wis. – Throughout the month of April, First Bank Financial Centre (FBFC) employees celebrated Community Banking Month by “paying it forward” to local citizens and organizations in the communities they serve.

Employees from FBFC’s Mequon branch visited First Watch Café during breakfast and lunchtime to hand out $5 to unsuspecting customers, provided $5 to movie goers at North Shore Cinema on “$5 Tuesdays”, handed out reusable grocery bags and $5 to shoppers at Metro Market, provided $5 to customers at Starbucks and, lastly, handed out $5 to those getting their cars washed at a local gas station.

In Grafton, random visitors of the local business, Cherry Berry, received $5 bills from the branch staff, whereas the Grafton Police Department received bagels purchased from Big Apple Bagels, and the Grafton Fire Department received a branch made treat basket. The Grafton branch also bought fountain drinks for those pumping gas or coming in for a quick treat at Mid City Quick Mart.

The Grafton employees continued with their random acts of kindness and had a nice time handing out $50 worth of $5 bills to various individuals in the Grafton community and purchasing appetizers for unsuspecting customers at the Milwaukee Ale House. The Grafton branch reached out to Family Sharing to find the best way to use their remaining Random Act of Kindess funds. A family immediately came to mind that could use the wonderful gift and the FBFC Grafton Branch Manager, Kris, was very happy to deliver the remaining $80 to them.
