Madison, Wis. (May 5, 2015) – Edgewood College will again offer an Early Childhood Music Program, a research-based program designed to nurture children’s musical development. Two sessions are planned: one in English and one in Spanish.

This unique offering for the Greater Madison community is a component of Music Experiences for Early Childhood, an undergraduate class taught by Edgewood College Associate Professor of Music Beatriz E. Aguilar.

The six-week session, offered on Monday mornings, is for children from birth through 3 years. Parents or guardians participate in the sessions with their children, who get a start on learning music through playing. There is a nominal cost associated with participation in the program.

Sessions begin Monday, May 11, 2015, so please visit music.edgewood.edu and register online, or contact Edgewood College Music Professor Beatriz E. Aguilar at 608-663-3442, or baguilar@edgewood.edu.
