MADISON, WI – Stevens Construction Corp., a full service, Wisconsin based general contractor, is pleased to announce the recent opening of the final phase of The Domain Apartments, one of the most expansive multi-family construction projects in downtown Madison.

The Domain, Madison’s hottest new downtown residence, opened its doors on the final phase of the 18.5 month project, ahead of schedule on March 20. Located at the corner of Johnson, Dayton and Broom Streets just west of Capitol Square, the luxury apartment project was a two phase project. In phase one, a six-story building along Dayton Street opened in August 2014 and was fully occupied a short time later. Phase two is a 12-story building at the corner of Johnson and Broom streets, which features a resort style pool with grilling area, 24-hour fitness center, yoga studio, tanning salon, coffee bar, top floor clubhouse and a roof top terrace with stunning Capitol and lake views. The Domain consists of over 440,000 gross square feet of concrete structure and 326 individual apartment units with underground parking. Originally envisioned by local developer Dave Shutz, the project was designed by Potter Lawson, Inc. of Madison and is the second, large project Stevens has built for Fiduciary Real Estate Development of Milwaukee and their financing partner, Northwestern Mutual.
