Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts: Will host a bridal fair but with a twist

Contact: Jacqui Corsi, Director of Marketing, jacqui@thelmaarts.org

It is no secret that Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts (THELMA) is a beautiful venue for weddings. So March 26 THELMA will be hosting its first bridal event. However, it’s not a typical fair, it’s a wedding.

At the event, appropriately called The Wedding THELMA will be decked out with all the bridal flair much like the dozens of weddings that have already taken place there.

“Vendors were encouraged to be creative in showing their assets,” said Jacqui Corsi,

THELMA’s Director of Marketing. “We are not limiting vendors to a 6 by 8 foot space but instead they can show what they do just as they would for a wedding – all with the stunning backdrop of THELMA.”

Adding to the event, Edith’s Bridals will showcase their dresses and tuxedoes during two New York-style fashion shows. The expert Renaissance staff will style the hair and apply makeup for the models.

The Wedding will also have one, of sorts, Corsi said. During the evening, a local couple will renew their vows in front of friends and guests in attendance.

“Hosting The Wedding in this way shows how couples can utilize the many beautiful, non- traditional spaces at THELMA with fantastic vendors,” Corsi said.

Vendors include Gueller’s Photography, Krystal Kleer Ice Sculptures, LLC, Paul Osterholm Sr., Three Guys and a Grill Restaurant and Catering, Wood’s Floral & Gifts, Wendy Pelletier, The Goldsmith, Model Laundry Co., Record Entertainment Disc Jockey Service, Eden Catering, The Vintage, Van Rixel Productions, The Cake Guru, Bob and Bonnie’s, Relics, and Sweet N Easy Events.

Many vendors will be providing special discounts including THELMA. There will be a drawing after the second fashion show for $1,000 off the use fee of a THELMA wedding. At least one member of the couple must be present to win and the wedding must be booked within two years.

The Wedding is set for 5 to 8 pm, Thursday, March 26. Admission will be charged and the first 100 brides and grooms will receive a Favor bag. Visit thelmaarts.org and click tickets to The Wedding.
