February 2, 2015 (Milwaukee, WI): Agro BioSciences announces the addition of Dr. Doug Willrett, Ph.D. Dr. Willrett will be responsible for the company’s Polyphenol Biotransformation Platform and the further research and development of products that will be introduced to select markets for improving human health and wellness.

Dr. Willrett brings over 30 years of experience to Agro BioSciences having worked in the food industry in both scientific and marketing roles throughout his career. At DuPont he led a successful Nutrition & Health global business unit focused on improving the quality & safety of food utilizing bio-based technologies. Prior to DuPont, Doug was the Executive Vice President of the Cultures Division with Danisco, a leading food ingredients company that was acquired by DuPont.

Dr. Willrett received his Ph.D. in microbiology from Oregon State University and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
