THELMA: Big Mouth and the Power Tool Horns to make an impact January 30 at THELMA

When Big Mouth and the Power Tool Horns roll into Fond du Lac January 30 to perform at Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts (THELMA), you can expect big music and big attitude.

This nine-piece band has been playing together for a long time, some of them since college. They know each other pretty well so mocking and teasing like brothers is as natural as playing music, said Bill Dennee, trombone.

“We get along so well, we just look forward to making music and spending time together,” Dennee said.

Based in Door County and Green Bay, they perform their blues, rhythm and blues, and ‘70s funk style all around the state. They like to keep it fast-paced. While the band has three CDs of original music you can expect some songs by Peter Gabriel, Chicago, and Tower of Power.

The concert begins at 8 pm, Friday, January 30. Doors and the bar open at 7 pm.

Tickets start at $12 for members and $20 for nonmembers. Visit thelmaarts.org and click tickets.
