Assembly Adjourns in Honor of 2014 New Holstein Distinguished Citizen of the Year

Madison, WI – Today, Representative Jesse Kremer (R-Kewaskum) adjourned the Assembly’s fourth floor period of the year in honor of Mr. Elroy “Herbie” Schreiner, recipient of New Holstein’s 2014 Distinguished Citizen of the Year award.

Mr. Elroy Schreiner, more lovingly known as “Herbie,” received this honor on January 8, 2015 at the New Holstein Area annual Chamber of Commerce dinner at the Altona Supper Club. At the event, New Holstein Mayor Dianne Reese presented Herbie with a citation commemorating his 30 plus years of community service and volunteer work in the New Holstein community and surrounding area.

“I am proud to adjourn today in honor of one of my constituents, Mr. Herbie Schreiner. Herbie has shown over the past 30 years that putting others first really makes an impact on people’s lives and in a community. I’m grateful for his dedication to our community, and for the opportunity to honor him today.”

Rep. Kremer represents the 59th Assembly District which includes Southern Calumet, Western Sheboygan, Northern Washington and Eastern Fond du Lac counties.
