MILWAUKEE, Wis. (Jan. 14, 2015) — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that Nicole J. Druckrey, a partner in the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group, has been named the Milwaukee office pro bono coordinator.

Nicole’s responsibilities include working in conjunction with Dawn R. Caldart, Esq., director of Pro Bono & Professional Development, to coordinate attorneys in the Milwaukee Quarles & Brady office providing free legal service to those challenged by injustice or hardship. Nicole volunteers her own time to help domestic abuse victims secure injunctions against their abusers.

“Pro bono representation is a core obligation of any lawyer and a critical part of the Quarles & Brady firm culture,” said Druckrey. “I am proud to continue serving our communities and neighbors through these efforts, and look forward to the opportunities ahead.”

Quarles & Brady is a signatory to the Law Firm Pro Bono Challenge® administered by the Pro Bono Institute’s Law Firm Pro Bono Project. It challenges firms to contribute, at a minimum, an amount of time equal to three percent of the firm’s total billable hours to pro bono work. Quarles & Brady also offers hour-for-hour credit to its attorneys for their pro bono services to indigent persons. Firmwide, Quarles & Brady lawyers recorded 19,000 pro bono hours and served approximately 525 individuals and 80 organizations in the 2013 fiscal year.
