Madison, Wis. (November 19, 2014) – Pizza Hut launched the biggest brand evolution ever today and Pizza Hut of Southern Wisconsin is inviting you to “taste and see” what’s new in stores and online at any of their 35 locally owned and operated restaurants in Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois.

The new menu – dubbed the “Flavor of Now” – features ten new crust flavors, five new premium ingredients, four new flavor-packed drizzles, new Skinny Slice Pizzas and eleven new specialty recipes – all available with six signature sauces. These specialty recipe pizzas have names like the 7-Alarm Fire, the Pretzel Piggy and Buffalo State of Mind and are sure to wow even the fussiest conniseur. In the “Flavor of Now” spirit, Pizza Hut narrowed in on millennials and their need for choice – in terms of infinite possibilities, there are now more than 2 billion ways to order a pizza at Pizza Hut.

As part of this flavor explosion, Pizza Hut of Southern Wisconsin will also be continuing its long standing tradition of helping schools, libraries, fire departments, children’s charities and other area non-profits by hosting some very special pizza parties in the communities where they have stores. “We just want to bring the pizza to the people!” explained Jim Williams, Chief Operating Officer. “This business is pure customer service. We win or lose every day based on whether or not the customer is taken care of. This is their Pizza Hut so why not create an atmosphere where everyone wins – we bring the party – they bring their appetites and the 7-Alarm Fire Pizza gets a shot at being Mount Horeb or Sun Prairie’s favorite pizza. At the end of the day, it’s all about bringing people together to have a good time.”

From the Ochsner Park Zoo in Baraboo to the Stoughton Fire Department and everything in between, all 35 stores, their managers, employees and customers will be playing a role.

“Pizza Hut of Southern Wisconsin has been giving back since we opened the first restaurant on Park Street in Madison in 1968,” said Rich Divelbiss, President of Pizza Hut of Southern Wisconsin. “We know first hand that our future is in the hands of our customers – some of whom we need to prove ourselves to and we’re ready. People will decide for themselves but we believe and certainly hope people will get ‘curried away.’ It’s a ‘hot and twisted’ move from an iconic brand and we’ve never been more excited.”
