MICHAEL BEST MAKES TECHNOLOGY DONATION TO MADISON YOUTH SERVICES ORGANIZATION

MADISON (OCTOBER 23, 2014) – Michael Best & Friedrich LLP’s Madison office recently donated technology items to Briarpatch Youth Services and Neighborhood House Community Center in Madison. The donations to the organization included about sixty-five computer monitors as well as several computer keyboards, scanners, printers and other computer accessories.

Briarpatch Youth Services provides support, housing and counseling for runaway and homeless youth in in Dane County. Recently Briarpatch opened a nine-bedroom house for homeless teens and young adults on Madison’s north side.

“Thanks to these generous donations, our after-school groups will have better access to resources when they work on their homework and participate in learning activities,” said Cedric Johnson, Director of Development and Communications at Briarpatch Youth Services. “As a non-profit, our budgets are tight and replacing technology usually gets pushed to the bottom of our needs list. This donation is great for our program and the community.”
