DE PERE, WIS.: The Center for Business & Economic Analysis (CBEA), a part of the Donald J. Schneider School of Business & Economics at St. Norbert College, will present its Fall 2014 Economic Outlook presentation and networking event on Wednesday, Oct. 29. The event will take place 5:30-7:30 p.m. in room 20AB of the Bemis International Center on the college campus.

The event will consist of a 45-minute presentation on current conditions in the national, state and local economies. The presentation will be followed by a 15-minute question-and-answer session and a networking reception, at which beverages and appetizers will be served. The event will be conducted by St. Norbert College’s best and brightest business and economics students, alongside assistant professor of economics Marc Schaffer and assistant professor of business administration Jamie O’Brien, who serve as the CBEA’s directors. The event is free and open to the public.

The mission of the Center for Business and Economic Analysis (CBEA) is to provide a link between the business and economics departments of St. Norbert College and the local business and nonprofit community. The CBEA plans to offer two economic-outlook presentations a year, one per semester, and offer pro bono consulting to the local community.
