Museum brings first-of-its kind
mobile application to its patrons.

Ashwaubenon (Green Bay, Wis.) – The National Railroad Museum announces a new mobile application that will deliver a unique and engaging experience to patrons. The free app will be available tomorrow on the Apple Store and Android Play Store.

The application will allow learners of all ages to experience the Museum in a unique way. Behind the scene tours will be available with the option to view and learn about artifacts that have never before been made available to the public. App users will be able to receive up to date information on news, exhibits and Museum events. The app features a variety of games geared toward children and highlights their exclusive caterer The Marq.

“What sets the National Railroad Museum’s application apart is its ability to draw visitors further into the Museum in an engaging and meaningful way,” said Deanna Novak, the Museum’s Director of Sales and Marketing.

Marketing efforts for the application were generously supported by The Marq and JackRussellApps.

“This tool will help educate the public about what the National Railroad Museum has to offer,” said Ken Kriegel, owner of JackRussellApps. “It is a project that will excite and bring a new generation of train lovers to the Museum and help illustrate how railroads shaped our country and inspire learning. We are pleased to work with the National Railroad Museum to provide this new app to anyone who has a smart phone anywhere in the world.”
