MADISON, WI – September 26, 2014—In recognition of her 36 years of leadership in both the Wisconsin and national advertising community, Marsha Lindsay, CEO and founder of Madison advertising agency Lindsay, Stone & Briggs, was inducted into the Wisconsin Advertising Hall of Fame. Marsha has the honor of being the first woman included in the prestigious hall of fame. Her induction comes on the heels of LSB becoming the first Wisconsin agency to be named Small Agency of the Year Midwest 2014 by Ad Age magazine.

Marsha founded LSB in 1978 while researching consumer psychology in graduate school at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her insights were so effective when applied in the marketplace that she formed the agency to apply them to real world marketing problems. Over the years, they’ve led to the agency developing a national reputation for brand strategy and driven the firm’s specialty in the commercialization and launch of new products and the reinvigoration of brands to live up to their full potential.

“I’m proud to be inducted into the Wisconsin Advertising Hall of Fame. But it’s only because I’ve had the privilege to work with the best of the best – from LSB staff to our great clients across the U.S.,” says Marsha Lindsay. “As a home base, Wisconsin has been a wonderful place to live and work because the people, the land, the great universities and the quality of life have allowed everyone on the LSB team to think more strategically and creatively.”

Throughout her career, Marsha has worked with many iconic brands, keynoted prestigious conferences, participated in international think-tanks, served on the executive committee of the industry’s national trade association, and been published in leading business and marketing publications like Forbes and Fast Company. She also founded Brandworks University, the internationally respected conference referred to as the Ted of marketing and now in its 25th year. Over 350 executives from the nation’s leading brands make an annual pilgrimage to Madison to learn what’s next and best in marketing from Marsha and Lindsay, Stone & Briggs.

Marsha was inducted to the Hall of Fame at the Milwaukee 99 Show on Thursday, September 25 at the Harley-Davidson Museum.
