Dozens of crafters fill “The Trollway,” Mount Horeb’s historic Main Street, lined with life-sized artist-carved wood trolls. This year for the first time the Chamber of Commerce will conduct a LIVE AUCTION of ten special items donated by area artists on Saturday, October 4th from 12:30-1:00 PM at the Welcome Center parking lot, at 300 E. Main Street. (Rain location will be the Welcome Center building 2nd floor.) Special items include a brand new wood-carved troll, created by Zoli from Monroe, WI. Prebidding is currently taking place at the Welcome Center until September 26th. The Silent Auction of donated art & craft vendor items will continue to be held, as during
previous years, in the Welcome Center lobby.

Our Norwegian heritage is also highlighted during the festival with demonstrations of rope making, hay baling, wool spinning, and more. A farmer’s market, buggy rides, live music, food court, antique tractor show, and a mini pedal tractor pull competition are also part of the weekend. The Sons of Norway Host Frokost—an authentic Norwegian Autumnal breakfast—will take place on Saturday at the Community Building, just one block north of the Main Street festival activities. Art lovers can browse the Arts & Crafts Fair for great one-of-a-kind gifts. The 33rd Annual Fall Heritage Festival occurs on Saturday, October 4, 9am-4pm & Sunday, October 5, 10am-3pm in Downtown Main Street in Mount Horeb. Visit www.trollway.com for more information.

The Fall Heritage Festival is a nonprofit Mount Horeb Area Chamber of Commerce fundraiser.
Dollars raised from past Fall Heritage Festivals have gone toward the Welcome Center, which hosts the MHACC offices and area visitors; the Wally Keller Memorial Art Scholarship Fund; and Mount Horeb Beautification Fund.
