Meg Boyle named among Milwaukee Business Journal’s Women of Influence 2014

Milwaukee, Wis. — June 23, 2014 – Meg Boyle, longtime co-owner of Paul Davis Restoration & Remodeling of Southeast and Fox Valley Wisconsin, has been named a Milwaukee Business Journal Women of Influence winner. The honor was announced during a sold out event at Wisconsin Center on June 20. Boyle was recognized in the Family Business category among 28 outstanding business women in a variety of honoree groups from throughout Milwaukee and the surrounding areas.

Nominated by Allan Degner, Paul Davis’ Director of Marketing, Boyle’s recognition was based on an online submission with an outline about the businesswoman’s professional and personal accomplishments. The information included a brief history about Boyle’s family construction business with her five siblings and father, Oscar J. Druml, who owned The Druml Company in Milwaukee for more than 40 years while the entire family lived and breathed the business, including every night at the dinner table. Focusing on construction best practices, business management and community support, the family firm made a powerful impact. Boyle’s role at Paul Davis includes serving as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President. She is responsible for all business operations and related projects. For more than 23 years, Boyle’s vision, values and vivacity has helped to propel the company to top rankings in sales volume among the Paul Davis franchise network of more than 370 locally-owned offices in the US and Canada.

“Meg recognizes that people make the company. Her innovative thinking and willingness to lead by example has resulted in the creation of valuable corporate and departmental programs,” said Degner. “In terms of daily operations, Meg has developed a management reporting structure that has enabled the Paul Davis office to achieve significant growth in volume and personnel among a diverse and multigenerational team of 100 people,” he said. Boyle has been instrumental in planning and implementing an employee benefits program that has attracted and retained some of the top talent in southeast Wisconsin.

Also, Boyle’s belief in the benefits of health and fitness along with community service and volunteerism has encouraged employees to participate in numerous wellness activities and volunteerism through the Employee Fun Committee. In 2008, Boyle and her brother and co-owner Dan Druml founded the Paul Davis Charitable Fund, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit which supports local and regional charitable groups through in-kind and monetary giving channels. In 2013, the fund raised over $30,000 with all proceeds benefiting the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. Boyle is currently overseeing fundraising efforts and event organization for the Paul Davis Firefighter Combat Challenge, a regional event scheduled in September with plans to attract more than 100 firefighters to compete in rigorous events which will benefit Columbia St. Mary’s Regional Burn Unit. Since 2006, the Charitable Fund has gifted well over $550,000 in donations.

more… Boyle also holds the position as Chief Financial Officer for Paul Davis National, the franchise network’s large loss office. She assumed this position at the inception of the company in 2005. Paul Davis National moved their corporate headquarters to Milwaukee in 2011 and has provided disaster restoration services across the entire United States including many significant Milwaukee projects. Boyle is also a Paul Davis National board member and is on the executive team while coordinating nationwide mobilizations with trucks, equipment and hundreds of employees at a moment’s notice during catastrophes and disasters.

With Boyle’s business acumen and work with the owner’s team and management, Paul Davis National has achieved consistent growth every year and has been involved in national disasters from Hurricane Katrina through Hurricane Sandy. She helped to concept and build Paul Davis National’s Informational Exchange Center, helping to further secure Milwaukee as home for the large loss franchise office while helping to support the growth of the entire Paul Davis network.

Additionally, in 2013, Boyle led a company expansion with a Paul Davis satellite franchise office in Neenah, Wis. and provided exceptional career opportunities for a team of twelve employees in the Fox Valley location.

Boyle has contributed to the Better Business Bureau A+ Company rating and Torch Award along with involvement in numerous companywide initiatives, such as customer service programs, safety manuals and programs, and reporting procedures. She also focuses on providing training and support for employees to provide exceptional customer satisfaction with a “Perfect 10 Service” program as an important company objective in customer satisfaction. She has served as Paul Davis’ Midwest District President and is on the company’s National Executive Committee.

Ultimately, Boyle’s goal is to develop her team’s ability to consistently deliver a superior product and create a reputation known for quality services in professional mitigation, restoration, remodeling and construction. However, as dedicated as she is to Paul Davis, her family is always first. Boyle and her husband, Jim have four children. The family lives in Brookfield, Wis.
