(Mequon, WI – December 2, 2004) Great Lakes Media Technology recently tripled their DVD production capabilities with additional equipment at their facility. This expansion will make it possible to greatly exceed the previous capacity of mastering, audio DVD, DVD-5, DVD-9, and DVD-10 manufacturing. In conjunction with Great Lakes Media Technology’s in-house mastering department and capabilities, this production increase will position the company at an even higher level of service.
One of the initial jobs to utilize this expansion will be a project from NFL football star Brett Favre. Titled, “Brett Favre: On and Off the Field,” this project will be produced as a DVD to be released in time for the holidays, and will offer a comprehensive look at the football icon in both his professional and personal life. With the additional DVD capabilities now in-house, Great Lakes Media Technology can easily handle this high quantity project in such a tight deadline, and will also produce all of the authoring and packaging for the DVD. Portions of the proceeds from the sale of the DVD will be donated to fighting breast cancer and to the Brett Favre Fourward Foundation.
