EMD Biosciences antibody products now available from RZPD

MADISON, WI: EMD Biosciences, Inc. (EMD Biosciences; www.emdbiosciences.com), a major supplier of premium tools for proteomics and disease pathway analysis known through its global brands Calbiochem®, Novabiochem®, and Novagen® today announced it has entered into a cooperative agreement with the RZPD Deutsches Ressourcenzentrum für Genomforschung (German Resource Center for Genome Research; www.rzpd.de), a not-for-profit service center known for its high-quality genomics- and proteomics-specific tools and services, including the comprehensive GenomeCube™ resource database, for academic and industrial researchers. EMD Biosciences is part of the Life Science and Analytics (LSA) division of Merck KGaA (Darmstadt, Germany; www.merck.de) and operates as EMD Biosciences, Inc. in North America and Merck Biosciences outside North America.
Under the agreement, visitors to RZPD’s website can obtain details about EMD Biosciences antibody products.

Further, RZPD will integrate detailed information about EMD Biosciences’s antibody products, such as antibody characteristics and available information about identification or assignment of any antibody to a particular gene, into its GenomeCube™ resource database.
