Houston, TX (April 5, 2012) – Madison, WI, has been selected by Where to Retire, the only magazine in America geared toward helping people with retirement relocation decisions, as a top retirement destination and will be profiled in the feature story “8 Dynamic Heartland Havens.” The May/June 2012 issue will be available nationwide on April 17, 2012.
Where to Retire editor Mary Lu Abbott said retirees are venturing into the Midwest for several reasons, including a more relaxed lifestyle and a lower cost of living. “Boomers are finding the Heartland to be friendly and inviting, where residents are patriotic and volunteers are passionate.
