QRG Bioscience: to Present at Wisconsin Life Sciences Venture Conference

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

RICHFIELD, Wisconsin (October 24, 2004)

QRG Bioscience has been chosen to give a presentation on the company, its products and technologies at the Wisconsin Life Sciences Venture Conference 2004, to be held November 16-17 at the Monona Terrace Convention Center, Madison, WI. The company is seeking additional equity financing to further develop its therapeutic compound that addresses the imbalance of calcium ions related to the neuronal degeneration seen in diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis and other related diseases.

It is the goal of QRG Bioscience to apply the technology developed from the aequorin molecule to develop products that fight the diseases of aging. Many different conditions are related to the disruption of calcium homeostasis and aequorin is being investigated to see how it may help restore the balance of that critical ion in the human body.
