Beloit, WI – The Stateline World Trade Association (SLWTA) welcomes David Forgue to its November 18th dinner program. Is your company doing the very best it can with your Canadian and Mexican business? Are you fully familiar with recent updates to Central American Free Trade Agreements (FTAs)? Should you be adding more focus on possible markets or sources of raw materials for your products from FTA countries to improve your bottom line? Find out during David Forgue’s informative program. David will discuss the free trade agreements to which the United States is a party, as well as the requirements to utilize the agreements. He will also discuss how to improve your competitive position utilizing these free trade agreements.

David is a partner in the Chicago office of Barnes, Richardson & Colburn. David’s practice includes all areas of customs law practice, as well as significant experience with antidumping duty matters. His clients have included major Asian and European manufacturers, United States Fortune 100 manufacturers, and many medium- and small-sized companies throughout the United States and the world.

The Thursday November 18 dinner meeting will be held at The Beloit Inn, 500 Pleasant Street, Beloit WI. It will begin with networking and cash bar at 5:30 p.m., dinner at 6:15 p.m., with Mr. Forgue’s presentation immediately following dinner. Menu is warm bread with basil butter oil, mixed Green Salad, home battered and pan fried pork served with mushroom bordelaise and mushroom risotto with a side of asparagus, and pumpkin cheesecake. Cost is $25 for members, $35 for non-members and $15 for students with ID. Registration must be received by Tuesday, November 16.
