MADISON—Biotechnology companies, nonprofits, and researchers seeking to form strategic partnerships with Abbott Laboratories (Abbott), Abbott Park, IL, should submit executive summaries of their proposals to the Department of Commerce (Commerce). Deadline is October 20, 2010

“Abbott’s Global External Research Organization is actively seeking domestic and global scientific opportunities in multiple areas of drug discovery research, including targets and technologies,” said Commerce Secretary Aaron Olver. “This is a tremendous opportunity for those seeking to take their research and development to the next level.”

As a research partner, Abbott is:

* Committed to building sustainable long-term relationships while maintaining transparency and responsiveness with all collaborative partners
