CG Schmidt: Hires Sarah Dunn Carpenter

CG Schmidt is pleased to announce that Sarah Dunn Carpenter has joined CG Schmidt as the Business Development Manager for the western region of Wisconsin. Sarah comes to CG Schmidt with extensive experience managing the business development, corporate marketing and communications functions for companies in the healthcare, design-build, and real estate development industries.

Most recently she served as the Director of Community Relations for the Hammes Company managing the marketing, public relations and community engagement functions for the $100 million redevelopment of the Edgewater Hotel. Prior to joining Hammes, she was employed in a variety of capacities with Marshall Erdman & Associates, including positions in business development, corporate communications, human resources, and marketing. She started her career in healthcare planning and marketing for various healthcare organizations in Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, and Rhode Island.

Sarah has also served in various leadership capacities on boards, committees, or participated in special projects for a variety of non-profit organizations in the community such as American Heart Association, American Red Cross, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Breast Cancer Recovery Foundation, Junior League, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Susan G. Komen, St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation, and United Way. She is currently serving on the board of directors for the Madison Children’s Museum and Recovery Foundation, and is serving in leadership capacities for Aaron J. Meyer Foundation and Blessed Sacrament Church.

Sarah is a Madison native, and she graduated from Edgewood High School and the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
