Pantheon BC: Deciphering the data — Sept. 10 seminar to examine important business numbers

Brookfield, Wis. – Businesses every day are deluged by financial data, some trivial and other very important. How does a business owner or manager know the difference, and what data should they be watching closely?

A Sept. 10 seminar, “The Data-driven Business,” will explain how owners and managers can identify the vital performance data and use it to make better business decisions. The free event is from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at U.S. Bank Brookfield Square, 205 N. Moorland Road.

The seminar is the third offered by Pantheon BC in conjunction with U.S. Bank. Previous workshops focused on valuing companies and how businesses can grow strategically.

“The Data-driven Business” will address how companies can effectively use data to guide important operational, financial, and sales and marketing practices. The related decisions can play a huge role in a business’s health, not to mention the personal financial futures of those involved.

“Given all their responsibilities, business owners and managers might feel overwhelmed by the flood of performance data they receive, or they may completely neglect the data collection process altogether,” said Timothy Lantz, President of Pantheon BC, who will lead the seminar. “However, understanding, tracking and interpreting key performance indicators is a critical component of good management. By knowing what information to follow, where to find it, and how to work with it, owners and managers can consistently make better decisions – and that is often the difference between growing a business and going out of business.”

The Sept. 10 seminar will examine where needed data is located, what data businesses should closely track, and how the data can be used to subdivide businesses into workable segments. Case studies will be utilized to detail real-life scenarios.

Lantz, the instructor, has more than 15 years of combined sales, management and consulting experience in a variety of business environments and industries. Pantheon BC focuses on strategy, data analysis, training, guidance and support to help businesses build strong, financially healthy operations that stand the test of time.

Interested attendees are asked to RSVP by Sept. 8 to David Wahl, U.S. Bank, at (262) 780-5033 or david.wahl@usbank.com.
