Madison, Wis. – Dean Pribbenow, Dean of the School of Integrative Studies at Edgewood College, has been selected as one of the participants in the 2010-2011 Senior Leadership Academy. The Academy is a program of the Council of Independent Colleges, and operates in partnership with the American Academic Leadership Institute. The highly-selective Senior Leadership Academy is a year-long program. The first seminar of the program will be held in Williamsburg, Virginia in November of this year.

“Competition for the available places in the program was extremely keen,” says Richard Ekman, President of the Council of Independent Colleges. “It is worth noting that the review committee found the nomination materials to be most impressive. They (and I) believe that Dr. Pribbenow has the potential for highly effective leadership in a position of senior responsibility on campus. Congratulations.”

Dean Pribbenow earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Luther College, his Master of Science degree in Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, and his Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has been Dean of the School of Integrative Studies at Edgewood College since 2006.
